At South Ascot Village School we aim to nurture pupils’ creativity and imagination, encouraging them to think like artists and designers. We follow the Kapow Scheme of work.
Intention
The intention is for pupils to develop the confidence to experiment, express ideas and communicate meaning through visual and tactile media. The goal is to inspire pupils to become confident, creative artists who can express their ideas and thoughts about the world.
Implementation
South Ascot Village School teach Art every half term. The Kapow Primary scheme will be delivered through five key strands that progress from EYFS to Year 6:
