South Ascot Village School

SAVS School

South Ascot Village School benefits from extensive and diverse grounds that provide a rich variety of learning environments, both indoors and outdoors, to support the holistic development of every pupil.

Inside, our school boasts bright, well-resourced classrooms designed to foster engagement and curiosity across all subjects. Pupils have access to a well-stocked library that nurtures a love of reading and independent learning. Our facilities also include a swimming pool where children develop water confidence and physical skills in a safe setting, alongside a spacious hall used for indoor physical education, sports, assemblies, and creative activities. The canteen dining room offers a welcoming space where pupils enjoy healthy, nutritious meals, reinforcing our commitment to their well-being.

Beyond the classrooms, our grounds are a distinctive asset. The school’s outdoor classrooms, including a dedicated Forest School area and an outdoor music space, provide inspiring settings for hands-on learning and creativity. These natural environments are complemented by a trim trail and adventure playground, encouraging physical development, risk-taking, and resilience.

Our Special Educational Needs Unit, The Canopy, is thoughtfully integrated within the school grounds, providing specialist support tailored to pupils with Autism, ensuring they benefit from both targeted provision and full inclusion in the wider school community.

The expansive school grounds feature a variety of hard, soft and natural surfaces and spaces, including wooded areas, open fields, and a hill or two, creating diverse opportunities for outdoor learning and play. A garden dedicated to growing plants and vegetation enriches pupils’ understanding of nature and responsibility. The forested areas and sports fields offer ample space for exploration, team sports, and physical activity, while courts and sports playgrounds support a wide range of games and social interaction.

Together, these facilities and grounds create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where pupils can thrive academically, physically, and socially, embodying our vision of a school that nurtures the whole child.
