Homework Tasks (22/05/26) - Half Term:
Talk Homework
We have been learning about explorers of the past and present day. Think carefully about the explorers and what they might have felt when they achieved their goals.
Reading Homework
Please read daily (for at least 10 minutes). You should now be logging all reading on the digital reading diary called Page Ticker. If you are having difficulty accessing Page Ticker, please speak with one of the class teachers. See if you can read different genres with your children to build on their love of reading.
While reading, please see if your child can spot the different ‘special friends’ within the text.
Well done to everyone who has logged their reading so far!
Spelling Homework
Spellings will continue to go home in your blue spelling book.
Please make sure that you bring your blue spelling book back to school every Friday, as you will complete your spelling test in this book and your new spellings will be stuck in.
Number Homework
Please go onto Numbots. I am looking to see what activities your child has completed and I will issue certificates to those children who have got onto certain levels. This year is about familiarising your child with this platform as we progress through the different stages.
Over the half term while you are out and about, see what patterns you can find. focus on odds and evens and doubling facts if you can!
