KS2 SATs Results 2024

In all areas, the school is scoring above the national average in terms of attainment.

Average Scaled Scores

The SATs test are given a scaled score where 100 is classed as the expected standard. Anything above 100 is working above the required standard. Anything below 100 is working towards the standard. A score of 110 or more is considered to be a pupil working at greater depth or at a higher standard. The minimum scaled score is 80 and the maximum is 120.

The average scaled scores compared to national averages were as follows:

Percentage of pupils meeting the required standard

To reach the expected standard in each test subject, a pupil must achieve a scaled score of 100 or more.

To reach the expected standard in writing, a pupil must achieve an outcome of ‘working at the expected standard’ or ‘working at greater depth’ in writing Teacher Assessment.

 

Percentage of pupils meeting greater depth

A score of 110 or more is considered to be a pupil working at greater depth or at a higher standard.

 

Combined Measure

The number of pupils who met the required standard in reading, writing and mathematics is also calculated. This measure also shows us as a school performing above National figures.
