The South Ascot Village School PTA brings together parents, carers and staff to support our school community. Through a range of fun events and fundraising activities, we help provide additional opportunities, resources and experiences for our pupils while creating lasting memories for families. Every parent and carer is already a member of the PTA, and there are many ways to get involved, whatever time you can offer.
Welcome to the SAVS PTA
At SAVS, every parent, carer and member of staff is automatically part of the PTA (Parent Teacher Association). The PTA is not a separate group of people, it is a community effort that brings families and the school together to enrich our children's experience and strengthen our school community.
Our aim is simple:
Build a strong school community
Organise enjoyable events for children and families
Raise funds that enhance opportunities, resources and experiences for our pupils
What we do
Throughout the year, the PTA organises a variety of activities and fundraising events for children, families and the wider school community. These events help create lasting memories while raising valuable funds for the school.

How PTA Funds Benefit Our School
Every cake bought, raffle ticket purchased and fundraising event attended helps us provide additional resources and opportunities for our children.

Get Involved
There are many ways to support the PTA, whatever your availability. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps make a difference.
No previous PTA experience is required.

The Committee is responsible for planning activities, making decisions and ensuring the charity operates effectively. Committee roles include Chair, Treasurer, Secretary and Committee Members. We are always keen to welcome new volunteers and share responsibilities across a wider team.

Each class has two PTA Class Reps who:
Share PTA news and event information
Help communicate reminders
Gather feedback and ideas from parents
Assist with volunteer recruitment
This is a small role that has a significant impact on PTA activities.

Join our PTA WhatsApp community to stay informed, share ideas and hear about opportunities to help. Membership does not involve any formal commitment and there is no expectation to volunteer for every event.

Support individual events when it suits you. Whether it's helping at a disco, running part of a bake sale or spending half an hour at the Summer Fair, every helping hand is appreciated.
